Anise wood
CDPMAD20LAnise wood
This is the bark of a tree, like cinnamon. Strongly anise-flavoured, it is used in Madagascar as a substitute for star anise.
Anise wood
Our perfect combination : to be very finely grated at the last minute directly on your dishes: seafood, white meats, poultry and also on vegetables, it goes particularly well with white beans.
It makes up part of the 5 spice mix, curry, it goes well with fish, chicken, salads and some desserts, flans, gingerbread... It also goes well with sweet dishes - fruit salads, creams, ice creams and sorbets.
You can use it whole in your broths or you can make an excellent infusion and an "iced" version for a delicious thirst-quenching drink.
